With more than two decades of litigation experience, Chris Ritchie has represented clients across Florida in a wide range of civil matters—from Pensacola to Miami. His practice has spanned commercial litigation, insurance defense, real estate disputes, legal malpractice, and first-party property claims in both state and federal courts. He has guided clients through all phases of litigation, including pre-suit negotiations, mediations, contested hearings, bench trials, and appeals. This broad litigation background brings valuable perspective to family law matters. Drawing on extensive mediation experience, he works to resolve cases efficiently and with minimal conflict when possible. When settlement is not an option, he is a seasoned advocate fully prepared to litigate and to handle appeals when necessary. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business and earned his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law, where he was named to the Dean’s List multiple times. He also completed a summer study program at the University of Oxford in England. A Pensacola native, Chris has been actively involved in the local community for many years. In 2013, he was named a “Rising Star” by the Independent News in recognition of his professional and civic leadership in the greater Pensacola area.
